Afternoon Treats

D visited Brisbane last weekend and so we had her and L come over for afternoon tea on Saturday to catch up. Here are the treats I made -

Mini scones with blackcurrent jam and whipped cream

Heart-shaped tuna mayonnaise wholemeal sandwiches (foreground) and sun-dried tomatoes mini muffins (background)

Lemon tartlets (foreground) and blueberry and white chocolate tartlets (background)

D & I figured out that this afternoon tea (a.k.a. high tea) is definitely mostly a girl thing. In my dream pastry cafe, I reckon we could have a "low tea" for the boys whose menu will be predominantly meat ;)
