Pickling Gherkins
My MIL's garden has been giving her quite a number of cucumbers. These are cute little ones that can be either eaten raw, or pickled into gherkins. I love these crunchy cucumbers when they are eaten raw. However, I also like the pickled stuff. With the 'collection' of cucumbers we were given (We consume less then what is given to us), I decided to pickle a jar of gherkins myself. It was rather fun and easy!
I used this recipe.

Munchee is always happy to oblige when one has extra cucumbers around.. don't suppose she likes them pickled though ;)

actually even though we eat them slower, i've also purposely taken more from MIL so that i can try to make a bottle of gherkins ;)
